FR La compagnie Ultima Vez, dirigée par Wim Vandekeybus, artiste associé aux Théâtres de la Ville (Infamous Offspring, 23·24), revient à Luxembourg avec une nouvelle création du jeune danseur et chorégraphe congolais Lukah Katangila, Imprisoned Gods, une pièce qui explore les riches traditions et systèmes de croyance de l’ancien Alkebulan (l’Afrique actuelle), avant l’influence de la colonisation occidentale.

Franui's Mahler interpretations provide the musical backbone, while the astonishing Circa acrobats, under the direction of Yaron Lifschitz, translate the music’s essence and textures through physical expressions.

FR Après Omma (20·21), le danseur et chorégraphe Josef Nadj poursuit l’aventure en créant Full Moon avec sept danseurs originaires d’Afrique déjà présents dans son spectacle précédent.

FR Aurélien Bory, metteur en scène prolifique, dont la mise en scène de l’opéra Orphée et Eurydice (23·24) a émerveillé le public des Théâtres de la Ville, revient à Luxembourg avec sa pièce invisibili, qui réunit théâtre, danse et art visuel face à une fresque du XVe siècle.

EN Hofesh Shechter’s creations are nothing if not visually stunning and sonically pulsating. The Théâtres de la Ville have had a longterm collaboration with the internationally acclaimed choreographer, whose company was last seen at the Grand Théâtre with Double Murder in 2022.
