As associate artist Elisabeth Schilling prepares her new production for the 2025•26 season, she invites you to dive into the fascinating world of plants and explore the wonders of nature through music and movement! The events are open to people of all ages and abilities.
BOTANICAL BEATS WORKSHOP
As part of the Sensorial Symphonies performances, Elisabeth Schilling is organising an exhibition at the Grand Théâtre, which will run from September 27 to October 2, 2025 under the name Botanical Beats. The exhibition will be created a.o from this workshop where participants share their plant-related stories. These stories will be written by Ian De Toffoli and transformed into short dance performances by emerging dancers. Discover more about the entire programme here.

We’ll discuss questions like:
- Which plants are meaningful to you?
- Are there flowers or trees that hold deep meaning for you, and why?
- Do you have a favorite flower that has accompanied you for years? Along with Elisabeth Schilling, who will share insights from her two years of research on plant life and culture, these workshops offer a deep dive into the fascinating world of plants.
