Staged as a series of conversations between delivery nurses and women going into labour, Deliver Us examines what it means to create new life in uncertain times.
A woman prepares to give birth as the world falls apart. It’s 2020. And 1983. And 1962. And 1941. And 1918. In 2020, an anxious millennial panics about climate change, overpopulation, and COVID-19. In 1983, a surrogate mother fears for her friends as a terrible virus ravages the gay community. In 1962, a young housewife shouts down any talk of impending nuclear war. In 1941, an exhausted mother of three gives birth far from home while bombs fall. And in 1918, an unmarried woman fights to survive the Spanish flu.

How Many Moons, Dolores?
How many moons, Dolores? is a dark comedy set in an eclipsed star above Iceland. This after life soul processing station is manned by Dolores,
an exiled guardian angel and Echo, a lovelorn nymph living inside an old radio.
Nothing ever happens here. Until now. Dolores is intent on hiding and helping Alma, a refuge seeking mother-to-be, who is destined to save the world. The play also examines John Doe’s soul along with reasons for his very unexpected arrival. Odin’s ravens are probably involved. Or was it Brisingamen? To top it off, all the gods – new and old – are voting on the “cancel humanity” referendum. Can and will this so-called ship be kept from sinking?
